SheilaDERBYSHIREMrs Sheila Derbyshire, of Trinity Street, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Monday 13th of February 2023, aged 84. Sheila worked for many years as a wages clerk at Rist Wires and Cables. She enjoyed cross stitching, reading, Suduko and cooking for all the family. Sheila loved holidays all around the UK, especially Jersey. She will be remembered as being a strong caring woman who had a great sense of humour, even in the hardest of times. Sheila was the wife of the late James Derbyshire and mother to the late Helen Derbyshire, and Ruth Derbyshire. She leaves grandchildren, Rachel, Danielle and Melissa as well as her eight great grandchildren, whom she adored. Ruth and the family would like to thank their friends and neighbours for their kind thoughts at this sad time. The funeral and burial will be held at Immanuel Church, New Lane, Oswaldtwistle on Thursday 2nd March 2023 at 2pm, followed by a wake at the White Bull, New Lane, Oswaldtwistle.
