SylviaDESIMONEPeacefully in hospital, Friday 3rd November 2023 Aged 79 years old

Adored mother, of Lori, and Jenny Fabulous mother in law, to Mark, and Karl. So very treasured Grandma, to Oliver, Jake, and Alfie. A loving sister to June, Pat, Jennifer, Linda, Jimmy, and Tommy. A dearest Aunt, to all her nephews and nieces. A great friend......... She will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Funeral service will take place Monday 20th November 2023 at 12.45pm at the East Chapel, West Road Crematorium, and afterwards everyone is welcome to City of Newcastle golf club, to share memories and light refreshments.

Floral tributes are welcome and may be sent to Coop Funeralcare, Benwell House. NE15 6RU, all donations If desired to Silverline Memories. A collection will be held at the service.

Dear Jenny and Lori, I was searching for a current address for Sylvia to send my yearly Christmas card to, when I came across her obituary. I am so very sad to see this. Sylvia was very dear to me. We shared our job and new motherhoods with each other. Visiting with her and you girls in London and New Castle in 2005 is a great memory for John and me. I know how much she loved all of her family and how much you all loved her. The image of you holding her hand to make sure that she got safely across the street will stay with me always. XOXO
