JoanDEWENSJoan DEWENS The family of Joan Dewens are heartbroken to announce her passing at Hartley Park Care Home on 17th February at the age of 91. Joan was loved beyond words and dedicated to all her family: beloved wife of Reg (deceased); cherished Mum to Tricia and Son-in-Law Ken; much-loved Nan of Jo and Phil, and their partners Richard and Gemma; treasured Great Nanny to Poppy and Henry, who loved to visit their Nanny Joan. Joan had a beautiful smile that lit up her eyes and the room around her; her family will treasure the endless amount of wonderful memories she gave them. Joan's family would like to thank all of the staff at Hartley Park Care Home for being her extended family for the last 11 years - you are simply the best. "Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure." Joan's funeral service will be held at Efford Crematorium on Wednesday 20th March at 10:45, followed by a wake at The Parkway Sports and Social Club (PL5 2EY) - all welcome. Family flowers only please or donations to be made if desired to Hartley Park Care Home Residents' Fund in Joan's memory. All enquiries to Southwest Funeral Care, 333 Southway Centre, Plymouth PL6 6QR. Tel 01752 651020
