EricDEWHURSTIt is with great sadness that we announce that Eric passed away suddenly in the early hours of February 5th at Gloucester Royal Hospital at the age of 71. Eric was beloved husband to Ria and Dad to Mike, Rob and Lorna. Funeral service to take place at St. Michael's Church, Dowdeswell, Cheltenham, GL54 4LX at 1.30pm on Tuesday 21st February. Following the service, a wake will be held at The Royal Oak, Gloucester Road, Andoversford, GL54 4HR. Family flowers only but donations can be made to the 'Fire Fighters Charity' via www.firefighterscharity.org.uk or c/o Norman, Trotman & Hughes, Walton House Barn, Northleach, GL54 3EY Tel. 01451 860288

So very sad to hear the news about Eric. Our mum was cook at Cheltenham Fire Station and I remember him well. A lovely man and condolences to the family.
