Dr. JeannetteDIAMOND(JO) July 18th, 2014. Aged 91 years. Peacefully in the gentle care of the staff of Halcyon House, Formby. Dr. Diamond was an Area Medical Officer of Health and held several other senior posts in the public health sector of the NHS. Jo was a great friend of Helen Blake and Godmother to Mary and aunt to Philippa. Jo was always considered as a member of their family. She will be sadly missed by Mary, Philippa and all her friends. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday August 7th at 12.00 noon at Our Lady's Church, Formby followed by Interment at Duke Street Cemetery, Southport at 1.30 p.m. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired, payable to R.S.P.C.A. c/o Dean Bros.
