DICKPeacefully at Crosshouse Hospital on 24th March 2009, Anne (Anna) Dick (nee Hilferty), passed away after a long illness. Much loved wife of the late John Dick, elder sister of the late Eileen McGlynn, and cherished "Auntie" of Laura, Paul, Claire, David and Pete who loved her like a mum and gran. Fortified by the rites of the Holy Catholic Church. R.I.P. The family wish to thank all staff in Wards 4E and 3E at Cross- house Hospital, Ross Court, family doctor at Portland Road GP Practice and East Ayrshire Homecare Service for their care and support to Anne during her long illness. We also wish to thank Canon Denis Quinlan for spiritual comfort and friendship to both Anne and John for many years, and particularly for spiritual comfort during Anne's final days. Thanks also to Fr. McGhee and Canon Quinlan for spiritual comfort to the family at Anne's special requiem mass, also Kilmarnock and District Independent Funeral Service for all arrangements. The family thank all family and friends for help and support to Anne over the years and, in particular, wish to thank Elaine Bell and Margaret Peter for their daily support to Anne during the last two years. Auntie's death leaves a gap in our lives which can never be filled.
