AudreyDICKINSON(Denton Burn) Passed away peacefully at home on Friday 16th February 2024, aged 82 years. Beloved wife of the late David and loving mother to Sharon. Much loved sister of Marie, Brian and Alan. She will be sadly missed by her family, including Lesley, her other in laws, Louise and the many other nieces and nephews, and all her friends. Funeral service to be held at West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 5th March at 1.15pm. No flowers please, but donations if desired to Marie Curie a collection box will be available following the service. Auntie Audrey had the second loudest laugh in the family and wasn’t afraid to use it. She was always looking out for us cousins, making sure we were fed and watered and that the oldies were kept out of the way. She was there at every gathering with a smile and a welcome. Goodnight auntie Audrey. X

I was so proud to call you my Aunt,You were such a big part of our lives growing up you were the glue to our big family keeping us all together. We loved to visit ring and spend time with you. You always welcomed us into your home,always feeding everybody sat around the table with a big pot of tea and a plate full of sandwiches and soup. We laughed, sang and told many a story in your company and it was always such a joy to be with you.
Rest in peace Aunty Audrey you will be missed. We will catch up again one day and laugh with you again x
