Funeral service to be held on Tuesday 26th November at 2:15pm, St Cleopas Church, Mill Street, L8 4RF.

Committal to follow at Springwood Crematorium at 3:30pm.

Then afterwards, refreshments at SAMs Social Club, Mill Street. All are welcome

Family flowers only please.

Any donations if desired to Dementia UK.

Grandad, it only seems like yesterday I used to leg it up Welly Road on a Saturday evening for you to spin me around and then go home to see what Nanna has cooked for tea.
When I asked you where you’d been you’d say ‘Just with me mates, John Smith, Jack Daniel’s, Tia Maria’ 😂
That sense of humour and brutal honestly will never be forgotten.
Give my Dad all my love 🥹

A much loved Dad and grandad.

I will never forget the time you and mum came to Australia to see us all, we have such treasured memories of you.

I am also so thankful I made it home for 90th birthday celebration's,and how funny you were blowing your candles out and making us all laugh.
Again thanks for the memories Dad and for the good times.

To my lovely dad, I hope you finally made it home.
I know the last few years were so hard for you dad when dementia arrived in your life and slowly took you away from us all.
I will never forget your determination and in your words
“Im not giving up”
You were so strong dad right up until the very end.
You were always big part of my life, and there was never a day when I didn’t see you, I’m so going to miss you so much.
Safe in the arms of your loved ones and your son Gary.
