PeterDIXON(Whitley Bay) Passed on 1st December 2022 aged 84 years after a short illness. Beloved husband of the late Joyce, also the much loved dad of Andrew, Alastair and Philip, father in law to Leanne and Mary and a treasured granddad/poppy to Isla, Keelie, Rosie, Bonnie and Lily. Family and friends please meet for service at St. Andrews URC, Eastfield Avenue, Monkseaton on Tuesday 20th December 2022 at 12:30pm. Private family committal will take place afterwards followed by a celebration of Peter's life at The Comrades Club, corner of The Links/Eastbourne Gardens, Whitley Bay. Family flowers only but donations to Marie Curie Cancer Care or Macmillan Cancer Research welcomed. All enquiries to: R.J. So sad to learn of Peter's passing. We go back to 1989 and 'BISCO' days. Wonderful to have kept in touch all these years and I will miss your humour. Sleep well Peter ❤️ x

Miss our calls so much Peter but glad our last one was as funny as it was leaving us both in hysterics I will never forget that .

I am very sad to learn today of Peter’s death. I worked with him for several years. Sincere condolences to Peter’s family, I know he will be sorely missed. I am so sorry not to be able to attend his funeral.
