PhilDIXONPhil lost his battle with aggressive advanced Prostate Cancer at home, in Donaghadee Northern Ireland, where he retired to in 2021. Formerly of Greenhead Avenue Dalton Huddersfield. Phil was born & raised in Chepstow Monmouthshire South Wales.
Phil was well known in Almondbury Village as he was employed by Kirklees Council Streetscene as a manual Street Cleaner for 14 years. Phil was well known, & popular with the villagers and business owners who didn't want him to take early retirement.
Phil was the much loved partner and best friend of Maura, Caring Stepdad to Nial, a Brother, Uncle & Brother in law. A proud Welshman to the core. He will be missed by all who knew him. Gone too soon. Prostate Cancer UK is our charity of choice.
