26th October 2026, hi sweetheart. Seven years today since you left us. I think and talk to you every single day. You are always close by love. Had some lovely messages this morning. Got a nice one from Jack and Wendy. At the moment I am at the caravan but going home this week whenever it is convenient for Samantha to take me. The two of us have just been out for lunch with Lacey. Went to the Elletson Arms but was not really impressed with it. I got a beautiful message from Jamie's ex girlfriend. As you know and I always tell you how much I love and miss you my darling. This morning at 2 10am I listened to The final countdown on my Alexa. You loved that song but you enjoyed the instrumental part as well. Love you my beautiful husband. My love always your loving wife xxx E xxx

Friday 23rd October 2026 hi my darling, Carlys birthday today love. 36 gosh where have all those years gone. Can you remember Samantha was living with us when she was born. Tonight Carly is having a party at her house. Samantha is picking me up from the caravan but she doesn't want to stay long because she is going to watch Connor at the Shovels in Hambleton. He does some singing there. Hope he is better at it than he is at valuation on a car. Can you remember what he offered Jamie for his. A total disgrace. 19th October 2026 hi sweetheart, Helen's birthday love. Her last one before the big one. The four of us went to Miller and Carter for a meal this afternoon. It was really nice. Had the usual garlic bread and then Simon and I had half rack of ribs and Helen and Rosie had chicken with a lovely mushroom sauce. Plus dessert. Really enjoyed it. Got back home and then Gilly phoned about 5 30pm to ask if I was in so she came over and she has only just left at 8 40pm. Wish you could have been with us love. Love and miss you sweetheart. 17th October 2026 Hi my darling, seven years today was the last time you came home. The hospital bed had arrived and the settee moved so I could sleep next to you. You were in such good spirits when you got home. You asked me to get a half bottle of whisky from the wardrobe to give to the ambulance man. You were so glad to be back home and talked about the future. Over the next couple of days you were quite positive about everything. Then you started to get worse. Oh sweetheart there was nothing I could do to help you. Family slept were ever there was room. Carers coming in four times a day. I can remember telling Jamie off for sitting at your bedside crying his eyes out and tears running onto your hand. It was as if he was saying this is it Grandad. I miss you so much my darling. 19th September 2026. Hi sweetheart 61 years ago today we went on honeymoon to the Isle of Man. We stayed at Auntie Annie's caravan on our wedding night and then drove to Blackpool airport to get our flight. Staying at the Windsor hotel in Douglas on the promenade. There was a group of pensioners Staying there as well. Can you remember how noisy they were. We went back to the same hotel ten years later for our tenth wedding anniversary and your Mum and Dad looked after Simon and Samantha. It is nice to look back on the things we did together and remember being together. Miss you my love. Your loving wife xxx E xxx
