Thomas EricDODD(ERIC) Formerly of Seaton Burn/Wideopen. Retired Education Officer to Newcastle Education Authority and former Deputy Head at Chapel Park Middle School. He passed away aged 68 peacefully at home 9 Broadlands, Wheldrake, York, YO19 6BS on 25th May 2017 almost 18 years after his heart transplant at the Freeman Hospital and to whom we owe a huge debt of thanks. Loving husband of Alayne, devoted dad of Chris, Michael, Stephen and grandad to Isobel, Olivia, Spencer and older brother of Anne and Sylvia. Service to be held at York Crematorium, Bishopthorpe Road, Bishopthorpe, YO23 2QD on 15th June at 1.35pm and thereafter at 9 Broadlands. At Eric's request, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Freeman Heart and Lung Transplant Association, Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE7 7DN.
