RodneyDODDSPassed away 2nd August in Manningtree. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, educated at Sedbergh and Cambridge where he studied Modern Languages. Formerly of Butleigh where he lived happily with Mary his wife of 68 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Penny and David, David and Vicki, Nic and Fay and Pip and Eric. Adored grandfather and great grandfather. He worked for many years at C&J Clarks followed by a very happy time teaching French at Hazlegrove Prep School. A great sportsman he loved to compete, particularly on the tennis court. He was a Lay Reader in Butleigh Church. He and Mary moved to St George's Park in West Sussex where they spent ten happy years before moving to Manningtree to be close to Penny. To contact please email pip.billington23@gmail.com
