This is the 5th birthday we've missed being able to share with you and I miss you more than ever. Ivan's friend was over last night on about a roofing job gone wrong an all I could think was what sort of input you'd have had on the conversation, how much you'd wanted to build you're own home and how unfair life is. Anyway I'll stop whining. Happy birthday dad, have yourself a large brandy & baileys....love you loads xxxx

Another year on and still words fail me. We lost you way too soon and I, selfishly, will always wish we'd had more time. I am consoled by the fact you are no longer suffering but it sucks that we all miss out on so much as a consequence. The girls talk of you frequently and you are in all of our hearts. Until we meet again...i love you....????
