Fly high Dad and soar above the skies. You fought the bravest battle and each time we see a little cloud or a rainbow soaring high, we will think of you and gently wipe a tear from our eye. Always in our thoughts. Rest peacefully Dad.
With all our Love
Leigh and Andy xxxx

Grandad was quite the character. Many will remember his amazing tales of life lived on the edge – being struck by lightning multiple times, car crashes and even a plane crash, and later in life a head injury and cancer of the eye. None of it deterred him from his passions and projects. He was always up early, busy in the back garden or the conservatory – painting, wood-carving, drawing cartoons, hatching plans. I will fondly remember hearing his and Granny's memories of international travels, listening to Jonny Cash and Roy Orbison in the conservatory, and problem-solving in the computer room laughing at Grandad's wide-eyed wonder at how fast "you kids" type these days. Go well, Grandad.
