Lawrence PatrickDOODYof Church Street, Haslingden, passed away suddenly at Blackpool Victoria Hospital on Saturday, November 12, aged 66 years. Son of the late Lawrence and Christina Doody, he leaves brother and sisters Marie, Dennis, Francis, Angie, Bernie and Carol and many nieces and nephews. He was also brother to the late Chris, Christina, Nora and Pat. Lawrence worked in the textile industry before retirement. He enjoyed bowling, cricket, football and socialising with family and friends. His funeral will take place on Friday, December 9 with a celebration of life at 10.30am in the chapel at Haslingden Cemetery on Grane Road followed by a burial at 11am. Family flowers only and donations in memory of Lawrence are welcome to the British Heart Foundation via Johnson, Durning and Woods Funeral Service, 8 Pleasant Street, Haslingden.
