JeanDOOLANThe family of Jean Doolan would like to announce her passing whilst in the care of St Margaret's Nursing Home, Grimsby, on Thursday 28th of May 2026, aged 89 years.

A loving Mother to Hilly, Belinda, Paul and Michelle. Caring Nan to Carla, Elliott, Kelly and Gee, and Great Nanny to Emily. Mother-in-law to Mick, George and Bridget.

Jean was a good friend to many near and far. Jean will be sadly missed by all.

A service to celebrate Jean's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 26th June 2026 at 3pm.
Jean is resting at Kettle Funeralcare where floral tributes will be gratefully received.

By request, smart casual clothing to be worn.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Jean's passing. Although I didn't have the privilege of meeting her, I have heard many anecdotes from Michelle over the years, and I know how much she was loved. My thoughts are with the whole family during this sad time.

Big Nanny, i have so many memories with you which I will forever cherish. I remember all of our little outings together, how i used to hold your hand and giggle while we talked away. I loved our phone calls where we would recall many happy memories together and catch up.
I miss you so much, words can’t describe the hole that has been left in our hearts. I know you are up there looking out for us.
Thank you for your kindness, warmth, strong spirit, love & the memories we made with our time together.
