LiamDORANSadly, on 26 August 2020 at St Andrew's Hospice, Liam passed away with his family by his side, after a long illness courageously fought, aged 68 years. Beloved husband of Jan, devoted and much loved father of James and Julia, cherished son of Clare, brother of Colm. Friend and colleague of many who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Liam's life will be held on Friday 18th September at 9:45am at Grimsby Crematorium. Sadly, due to current restrictions the service will be for family and invited guests only. The service will also be broadcast outside for any mourners who wish to attend. A link will be provided to a webcast of the service after the event. Family flowers only. Floral tributes will be gratefully received by Kettle Funeral Directors. Donations to St Andrew's Hospice or Cancer Research UK online or on the day of the service. Very sad, played football with Liam at Old Winghams in the 80’s and 90’s. Great person, thoughts are with his family.

Liam was a wonderful gentleman. I met him at the very beginning of my headship and he was supportive, encouraging and generous. His passing is a huge loss to everyone who met him. I am grateful for the advice and laughs.
