Simon PeterDORÉEDORÉE Simon Peter Son of the late Diana and Maurice Dorée. Peacefully after a short illness on 23/06/2023 aged 65 years at Poplars Care Home with his family by his side. Much loved brother of Louise, Oliver and Ben. Beloved brother-in law to Liane and Sally and uncle to Sophie, Emma and Laura. A big man who will be greatly missed. The funeral Service will take place in the Bluebell Chapel, Stockton-on-Tees Crematorium at 13.30 on 6th July 2023. Donations in lieu of flowers to The Royal British Legion.

Life is so cruel. I first met Simon many decades ago when he was working in the local model shop. He and I got to know each very well and I was his sponsor when he applied to be a magistrate. My background in the police and his in the justice system resulted in some very long and interesting discussions. We were like minded individuals. An Erudite man who I will miss very much. RIP Simon.
