In loving memory of a very dear mum
God gave me a beautiful mother,
Whose memory will never grow old,
He fashioned her smile out of sunshine,
And gave her a heart of gold,
He wanted a new star for Heaven,
A beautiful light to shine,
So out of this world of sorrow,
He chose that mum of mine,
And on that day God chose her,
My whole world fell apart,
For when he chose my mum,
He had to break my heart.
