From your cousin Allan and Gloria Scahill in Canada
It was with deep sadness, that I learned today, 19 April 2016, of the passing of my cousin James Dowd.
Living in Canada, the last time I saw James and Beatrice, was at my mother's funeral in 1996. Prior to that it was on a visit to England in 1990. James and Beatrice very kindly had myself, my wife Gloria and my mother,
Maud Scahill, who was James's aunt, for lunch at their home on Dumbah Lane.
My mother spoke frequently of that visit and how kindly we were treated.
For some time I have been trying to contact James and Beatrice, but did not have a phone number or email address. It would be greatly appreciated, if anyone reading this message and knows Beatrice or the family, could pass on my email address: ascahill@gmail.com. Thank you.
