My adored big bruv, so many memories, especially of you being on home leave from the Royal Navy. Servicemen wore their uniform in those far off days. I would go in to town with you, so proud & happy you were home again. Had my first Coca-Cola at Fortes, Bexhill seafront, so pleased some of my school friends saw us sitting in the window. Life & families meant long separations, then later on more wonderful times and memories, with you & your family. Still reeling from the shock of losing you Roy-boy, goodbye my brother, now with Nan, Mother, Dad, Pat, Barry, Brian & our especially our big sis Ann 🥺💔

A good man and a friend who will be greatly missed by so many people.
It was a privilege to have known Basil for so many years, as a work colleague, a boss, but most of all a friend, he will be remembered often for his humour and kindness.
Rest in peace Basil
Doug and family.
