Grandad, you will always hold a special place in my heart. Even when I came to see you before you went in the care home you knew my name and shouted me. You was a gentle soul with aloura calling her a beautiful baby. You made me laugh especially when you had your tv up high and when me and gran were chatting you would turn it up and she would ask you to turn it down. Thankyou for some wonderful memories.
You have left a huge hole in this family, but I hope you and gran are together.
We will see you one day again.

Grandad, you’re in a better place now and finally at rest. The illness you had took the person we all knew away but you fought hard! I’m so glad you were still here to find out stockport county are back where they belong. Always remember every time I saw you that you’d always ask where I’d been in the county to watch county. You will be missed by all of us and I can’t wait to see you one day when we meet again 💙

To the man I called dad all my life. Your illness took the man we knew but the memories will always be stronger. Our hearts are broken and our thoughts are sad. To lose someone as special as you. Our love for you will always be and you will never be forgotten.
