One day we will meet again but only when the time is right, when you step out of the darkness I will be standing in the light. You always had a smile on your face, especially when you had a pint in your hand. Sleep peacefully Mick, you deserve it. Loving wife Susan XX

There's a special kind of feeling when I think about you, Dad. It's a pleasure to remember all the happy times we had. There's a special kind of caring that is meant for you alone. There's a place somewhere within my heart that only you can own. Goodnight God bless Dad. Broken-hearted Daughter Maria and Son in Law Ste XX

Anyone can be a father but it takes someone special to be a Dad. Rest in peace Mick. Loving Step Sons David and Trevor (deceased).
You came into our lives and took us in as your own, it takes a very special person to step into this role. There are no words to express what you mean to me, thank you for being the Dad you didn't have to be. I never got to choose you, you just became my Dad, so I'm grateful to my Mum for the great taste she had. I'll treasure the memories and not feel sad because I was so lucky to have the greatest Step Dad. Sleep peacefully Mick, loving Step Daughter Susan and Grandsons Robert and Michael.
A special brother in law. What a hero you were Mick, you fought so hard the past few months. It was a privilege to have you in our lives. So glad we got to spend the last week with you. You're free from pain now, sleep peacefully Mick. Love and miss you always Tony, Irene, Amanda and Anthony XX
