AnneDR WIGLEYDied peacefully on 26/7/2024 at Abbeydale Nursing Home, aged 91 years. Anne will be sadly missed by her family, friends, former patients and colleagues at Macklin Street Surgery.

Funeral service at Markeaton Crematorium on 20th August at 1.30pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Anne to Derby Refugee Forum and Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, may be left after the service or given online at www.wathalls.co.uk

Very sad to hear of this. Dr wigley was also our family doctor from leopold Street. You don't get doctors like her any more unfortunately. She was so kind to my mum when she was ill. One of the few that had time for you.

Dr. Wigley was our family Doctor at Leopold St. surgery from when I was little. She was a no nonsense, but very caring and compassionate lady. I remember her often making house calls dressed in a tweed skirt, a twin set and string of pearls. She would pull up at our house in her beautiful Triumph Herald - which sparked my life long love for these cars. Our deepest condolences go to all her family and may she rest in peace.

She was my mum & dad's & my Doctor for years. Dr Wigley was an absolutely excellent GP & knew us all so well she felt like a family friend which is rare these days.
