Patricia AnnDRINKWATERof Moorhead Care Home, Accrington, formerly of Daniel Street, Clayton-le-Moors, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 29, aged 87 years. Beloved mother of Susan, Christine, Paula, Kathy, Steven, Helen and Mark. Mother-in-law of Martyn, Stephen and Sue. Sister of Jeffrey and the late John, and sister-in-law to Christine and Kathy. Much loved grandma to 10, and great-grandma to many. Born and brought up in Great Harwood, Patricia moved to Clayton-le-Moors when she married Frank in 1957. As well as raising her seven children, Patricia had a number of jobs before becoming a home help for many years. On retiring, Patricia liked to go walking and enjoyed day trips out with her many friends. She enjoyed quiz shows and watching Homes Under The Hammer and Antiques Roadshow. Special thanks to the staff at Moorhead Care Home for their kindness and loving care in the last three months of her life. The funeral will take place on April 14 at 10.30am at St Hubert’s Church, Great Harwood, followed by committal at Great Harwood Cemetery. Flowers are welcome but donations, if preferred in lieu of flowers, are also being gratefully received in memory of Patricia to St Hubert’s Church, Great Harwood, c/o Hyndburn Funeral Services, Queens Road, Accrington.
