DianeDRISCOLLThe family of Diane Driscoll (Katy) would like to warmly invite everyone who knew and loved her to join us in celebrating her life on Friday 6th November 2026.
Born and raised in the Docks, Diane moved to Caerau over 40 years ago, where she became a well-known and much-loved member of the community. Known for her kindness, generosity and willingness to help anyone in need, Diane dedicated much of her life to volunteering, supporting others and, above all, caring for her family.
As well as raising her own children, Diane devoted the last 22 years to raising her grandchildren, always putting her family's needs before her own. She particularly treasured the time she spent with her youngest grandson and great-grandson.
Diane was a vibrant, loving woman with a big heart, who touched the lives of so many people, and we would love for everyone to come together to give her the send-off she deserves.
Funeral Arrangements - Friday 6th November 2026
The funeral procession will leave Diane's home in Bromley Drive at 9:30am, followed by a service at Wenallt Chapel at 10:30am.
Diane loved colour and would want everyone to feel comfortable, so please wear whatever you feel happiest and most comfortable in. Colourful clothing is very much welcomed - there's no need to wear black (unless you want to!).
Following the service, everyone is invited to join us for light refreshments at Cardiff West End Social Club, (Cowbridge Road West) before we head to Castle Bingo, Canton, for a game of bingo in Diane's honour.
Because anyone who knew Diane will know there is no better way to celebrate her life than getting together with the people she loved and enjoying a game of bingo!
Let's give Diane the colourful, loving send-off she deserves, filled with memories, laughter and, hopefully, a winning line or two! 💙
