StevenDRIVERMr Steven James Driver - known as Steve - passed away on Friday, December 11, whilst in remission from Lymphoma. Steve died suddenly and unexpectedly in hospital from a secondary illness, aged 54. Steve was the loving husband of Judith, proud dad to Jess, Milly and the late Matthew, treasured Grumpa of Aria and Isabella, cherished son of Rosalie and the late Michael, beloved brother to David, Nicola and Lisa, as well as a much-loved uncle, cousin and father-in-law, and a great friend to many. Hailing from Great Harwood, Steve started out as an apprentice at Lucas in Burnley. Over the years Steve worked as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for several different companies both in the UK and overseas. He made lots of strong friendships through his vocation. Steve always had time for everyone and loved to talk about his hobbies such as classic cars, real ales and DIY. A private family funeral service will be held. Family flowers only please, with donations in memory of Steve gratefully received on behalf of Lymphoma Action and Manchester Foundation Trust Charity c/o champfunerals.com/ obituaries . All enquiries to Champ Funeral Services, Bank House, Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors.
