Ron was my mum’s elder brother and I know she saw him as a genuine, caring and compassionate brother; those traits characterised a lovely warm and approachable man throughout his wonderful life. He reminded all of us as a younger image of his father Ted in many ways: his gait, his laugh, the way he looked at you and just his general demeanour. He clearly cared for others all his life and this showed both on the home front no doubt , but also in the generous time and effort he put into the Masonic Lodges in which he served. A great dad to Mike, we know he goes to rejoin the love of his life Muriel. God bless you Uncle Ron for a truly fantastic life, lived to the full …….
