Deeply saddened to hear of Max's passing. I worked for the Dudson family for 13 years at Armorlite and Max always had time for anyone and everyone. Heaven has gained a true gentleman. RIP Max, sending thoughts and blessings to his family.

On my First NRA Trip in 1993, I met Max. The Circumstances
I have recounted Many Times. It was in the basement of Biggs Restaurant in Chicago and I was seated at a table where Joe Yeager , Ian Dudson and the Le Madeline French Bakery folks were discussing making a Double Cappucino cup for their Restaurants.Having not sold One Piece of China yet, I was trying to eavesdrop on the Pros to see how it was done when a man tapped my shoulder and asked me if I wanted a coffee.
I said yes, thanks cream and sugar Please thinking he was a server . When he sat down next to me with my coffee,
He said, Hello , I'm Max Dudson, welcome to the Business!
I of course was Flabbergasted that a man of his position would be so Gracious and Welcoming to a novice like me.
I love this story because Max was Very Same from the day we met till I last saw him at NRA a few years ago.
My wife Bonnie and I were fortunate to have made three trips to the Factory and Max as well as the Entire Dudson Family were just Lovely People and so accommodating.
Bonnie and I are profoundly saddened at his passing
And send our Deepest Love and Condolences .
You will Always be Remembered in our Hearts.

Really sad news. Max was a very good person. I did appreciate our meets in Paris (Gare du Nord) and in Lille (Gare Lille Europe), and our few conversations through Skype with his humor. My deepest sorrow and sincere condolences to his families. Peace in heaven !

This is so sad.
Working with Max was always a pleasure, as it was a guarantee that, no matter who you were, you would be treated with respect, consideration and greeted with that warm smile of his. I will never forget his kindness and humility.

My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
