KathleenDUFFY(Née Tumelty) (Wardley) Peacefully in hospital on 14th February 2023, aged 94 years. Kathleen, beloved wife of the late Leslie. Devoted Mam of Theresa, Michael, Gerard and the late Heather. A much-loved Mother-in-law of Ian and Lynda. A dearly loved Gran to her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Also, a dearly loved sister of Jim and a loving sister-in-law of Catherine. Kathleen will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Please meet for Requiem Mass at St Augustine's R.C. Church, Leam Lane Estate, Gateshead in celebration of a life well lived on Tuesday 28th February at 10am, followed by interment at Heworth Cemetery. Afterwards all are welcome at The Green, Wardley, where refreshments will be served. We would like to thank all the staff of Ward 1 at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital for the wonderful care given to Kathleen and for supporting us, her family. Family flowers only please, but if desired donations to Great Ormand Street Children's Hospital or The Royal Victoria Infirmary Children's Unit would be greatly appreciated.
