David will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service to be held at South Lincolnshire Crematorium on Thursday 26th June at 10am All are welcome.

Mr Dumat was my form teacher and maths teacher at Dinnington Comprehensive School for a few years from 1977 to 1979. I was late for registration almost every single day and he never once chastised me for it! He was always really supportive and took a great interest in my chess matches for the school. I remember him very fondly. He gave me his contact details when he left but I lost them. I tried to find his details several times since the emergence of the internet but to no avail. Just tried again, sadly only to find his obituary and tribute page. He’d have been very pleased to hear I got an A in my maths ‘O’ level! I remember him being really troubled in his last months at Dinnington Comprehensive. So nice to hear that he found love and happiness after his move to Boston.
