True Laff Merchant and originally a Manc. A geezer and a Showman...who was equally happy in yer company, too. Once got into a random drinkipoos with eleven Pauls in the No Sign Bar, one wintry Sunday night, in the early 90's...Now that was a team...and I was the barman!
Kindest memories - (Blackpool) Paul

A light has gone out.
The accolades and anecdotes will keep coming for days from all corners and all walks of life.
I didn't know him very well myself, even though I only lived 50 metres down the road, but he made me smile. He really got on with my missus and was a good friend to her as he was to many, many people.
He leaves Swansea, his pretty s****y city, with an indelible imprint of his boot mark across its face and countless memories of mischief and mirth.
The sardonic smile, the cutting wit. The stories. It was always about the stories.
The King (and virtual Mayor) is dead.
Don't rest in peace Paul. Wherever you've gone to, annoy the f*** out of them for your own amusement.
Paul Tipler
