Sylvia (Mbe)DURHAMIt is with the deepest sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mrs Sylvia Durham MBE, the founder and Chairman of Animals In Distress. Sylvia passed away peacefully in hospital on Monday 5th November 2018, surrounded by all her loving family, aged 88 years and of Dukinfield. Loving Wife of the late Walter Durham. A loving Mother to Catherine, Stephen and Gillian. Treasured Grandma and Great-Grandma. A much loved Sister, Cousin and Friend to many. Anyone who knew Sylvia would know that animals and the charity were her life. She will be sadly missed. She has left the greatest legacy in the form of this wonderful organisation of which the family are all very proud. The Funeral Service is to take place at Dukinfield Crematorium Chapel at 2.00pm on Thursday 29th November 2018, followed by Interment at Graveside at 2.30pm. Family Flowers only.
