Passed away at home on 25th March 2026 aged 86. Shirley had lived in different locations over the years, but when local worked for The Ministry of Agriculture, Hydestile Hospital, Bookwise & Secrets farm shop in Godalming.

A much loved Mum, Nanna & Sister. She will be greatly missed by family & friends.

Funeral service to take place on Tuesday 5th May at 11.45 am at St John's Church, Farncombe.

Shirley was my lovely Mum. I miss her deeply, she was an inspiration to me & coped so well with all of life's challenges in a quiet & dignified way. Mum was very kind & her family meant so much to her. Because she was such a special person she attracted wonderful loyal friends, we all loved her & I feel so lucky to have been her daughter. She has left us with some very special memories.

I was so lucky to have such a special Mum. I miss her so much. She was an inspiration to me & coped with all life's challenges in a quiet & dignified way. She was a gentle soul who loved her family deeply, & has left us with some wonderful memories I will never forget her.

I knew Shirley for over 40 years she was my mother in law for almost 20 but she was always part of my family. She has been a major part of my life and I will miss her greatly.Shirley will be missed by all of her family and she has left us with some fantastic memories of our times with her.
