Passed away peacefully at Royal Liverpool University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Reunited with loving wife Bridget

Loving dad to Ann, Maria, John, Gerrard, Robert, Paul, Mark (deceased), Stephen, Julie and James.

Father in law to Steve, Peter, Vivienne and Joanne.

Loving grandad and great grandad.

John will be resting in chapel at Craven Funeral Directors, Park Road, from Tuesday 6th February until Friday 9th, when he will going home to rest privately with his family.

Requiem Mass to be held at St. Patrick's Church, L8 at 10.00am, followed by interment at Allerton Cemetery at 11.30am on Monday 12th February.
Reception to held afterwards at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Social Club.

Family flowers only please but donations welcome to British Heart Foundation

RIP Grandad, you leave us many years of memories. The white head at Lime Street in the crowd to pick us up. Your legendary roast potatoes, your love of football, boxing and music. You were surely one of the best dressed men in the entire city. Rest well reunited with Grandma. Xxx
