Philip CharlesEASTOn 29th August 2025 peacefully in hospital aged 75 years.

You helped so many people in the community.

Climbed so many mountains, walked endless miles and cycled even more.

A natural adventurer either by yourself or with those you loved spending time with.

Visiting countless places and those people you came to meet along the way.

It was clear to see that there was no doubt you found your peace and enjoyment in the great outdoors.

From all of your loved ones we want to thank you for all you have done throughout our lives and leaving us with a lifetime of fantastic memories.

Your family and friends will miss you dearly.

Wherever you are, we all hope that you are basking in sunshine, on an open road, wind behind your back or taking in the sights from the top of a mountain.

Continue to do what you enjoy !

A service to celebrate Phil's life will be held at 3.30 pm on Friday 26th September at the Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby.

No flowers by request but donations to Barnardo's may be left at the service.

Any enquiries to Rudstons of Hessle Funeral Directors, The Chevin, Beverley Road, Hessle, HU13 9AD. Tel 01482 649065

I have known Phil since 1963 when he was my Patrol Leader at St.Aidans Scouts, later he sat with me when learning to drive. Kept in touch over the years, last met in 2014/5. A good friend who liked the outdoor life of walking and cycling. Peaceful journey with a following wind. He would help anybody if he could.
Deepest sympathy to Adele and Mark his children.
