Robert CliveEASTWOODof Fairfield Avenue, Waterfoot, passed away peacefully at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on February 22, aged 75 years.

Clive was a clicker in the slipper trade, he was well respected and conscientious. He worked in numerous factories including Lambert Haworth, where he was a foreman. Clive attended St Joseph’s RC Primary School and St Ambrose RC High School, Rawtenstall. He had an interest in cricket and made himself a member of Bacup CC as a young boy for half a crown and had been a stalwart member ever since. He was also a member of the Red Lion Quiz Team, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Mark Labbett of The Chase. Clive leaves his sisters Janet, Marlene and Lynn, brother in law Peter, lots of nephews and nieces, godson Michael and many many friends including great friends Eddie and Steve.

A service will be held on Wednesday, March 13 at Burnley Crematorium conducted by Kathy Unsworth at 1.30pm, afterwards at Bacup CC, all welcome.

Family flowers only, donations to Cancer Research UK.
