It's so sad to hear that Len has passed. I knew Len through his mam, I use to look after her and am still in touch the family. They are lovely and a very close family. I wanna send my love to them all and let them all know I am thinking of them all. Len was a funny man he was always helping people out and he would not do a job and leave it unfinished, he would always make sure it was fixed. Good night Len and God bless. My thoughts are with Mary, Kay and Liz.

It was with great sadness that I learnt that Len had passed as he was such a great part of my early life. He was always there from the early years of junior school until we went our separate was when we were in our late teens.

Lenny was as strong as an ox and certainly the fittest one of our group. We had some great times during those years. The times when he drove his Ford Anglia and got it airbourne on the road back from Guisborough. I still don't know how he didn't break that car. The time we all cycled to Kildale and he had a puncture only to remove the tube to find it was made up almost entirely of repair patches. The time I had too much to drink after a night at the Club and he carried me home. As always he was there as a loyal and reliable friend.

Unfortunately I cant be at the church to celebrate Len's life as I now live in Australia but he will be in my thoughts. In my mind Len will always be young and I celebrate those great times. My deepest condolences to Jacqui and family.

Rest in peace my friend.
