Thinking of you today John, and not believing it's now two years since you left us. Yesterday Bob and I were out at the bonsai paddock, overlooking the estuary, while trying valiantly to keep the brambles at bay - and I know you would've loved it out there! Many happy memories xxx

Is it a year already since you left us? We often talk about you and do our best to smile, remembering you with love, missing you dear brother, uncle and great-uncle.

A year has gone by and every day I still find it hard to believe you're no longer in this world.
Missing a very dear friend, his humour, sensitivity and kindness. His passion for the English countryside and the traditions, craft and heritage held within knew no bounds, and he shared it with all around him. Will always be remembered with great fondness, and a smile xx

Such happy memories of John.
His lively and enquiring intellect made for many animated discussions covering an eclectic range of subjects.
And there was that twinkle in his eye when we all knew he was going to throw in some witticism resulting in us all collapsing into laughter.
I will miss you John.
Love, Jenny x

John, my dear brother, a gentle soul with a great sense of humour. He followed in our mother’s footsteps to collect and write about pottery
His legacy is Winchcombe Archive Collection Trust, a body of written works, videos, pottery, engravings and etchings celebrating the work of potters at Winchcombe and from the Devon area.
