DerekEDMONDSONA FORMER Oswaldtwistle Town Hall keeper, well known to many around Ossy. He passed away peacefully after a short illness on Saturday, July 4 at Arrowe Park Hospital, Birkenhead, aged 89. Loving husband to the late Margaret Edmondson, he was a much loved father to Lynne and Karen, father-in-law to Neville, grandpa to Graham, Gareth, Vicki, Matthew, Ceri and Dyfan, and great-grandpa to Luna. Leaving many close and caring family members, Christine, Frank, Pamela, Valerie, Catherine, Ian, George, also friends Keith, Pat and the Jubilee Crew. Reunited at last with Margaret. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Mincing Lane. A service and committal was to be held at Accrington Crematorium on Tuesday, July 21. Donations if so desired to Dementia UK.
