DawnEDWARDSPassed peacefully at home with her family after a long illness on 10th January 2024 Dawn.

Dawn was a beloved daughter, mother, wife, sister, auntie and friend. Dawn devoted her life to others - her family, friends, colleagues and patients. A truly beautiful person inside and out. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Service at St Nicholas Church Dunston on Monday 29th January at 10:15am.

Cremation will follow at Saltwell Crematorium at 11:15am.

Dawn wanted no flowers, simply donations to her favourite charities Mind and Cancer Research.

All are welcome afterwards to The Bay Horse in Whickham

I worked with Dawn in London in the 1980's. Dawn was one of the kindest people I ever met. Very sad to hear this news. My kindest thoughts to her family and frriends. Ian

My goodness I’ve only just seen this. I grew up next door to Dawn - had not seen her for many years. She was a good friend to me when we were teenagers. So sorry for her family.
