Sylvia KathleenELLINGTONof Woodside Road, Huncoat, passed away on November 21, aged 72 years. Sylvia was a retired housekeeper, having worked for Lancashire County Council for years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, days out, garden centres and listening to the brass band at Morecambe. She also enjoyed watching soaps, spending time with her family and looking after her dog Spot. Wife of the late Geoffrey Ellington, mother to daughters Andrea and Tracey, mother-in-law to Mark, grandmother to Liam, William, Peter and Micheal and dear sister to Steven, Nigel and Colin. Her funeral will be on Monday, December 19 at Accrington Crematorium at 11am, conducted by Neil Overton. Family flowers only, donations to Diabetes UK c/o Hyndburn Funeral Services, Queens Road, Accrington.
