It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mandy Ellington, who lost her painful battle with cancer and sadly passed away at Castle Hill Hospital, aged 56.
A wonderful and beautiful Mum, Step Mum, Grandma, Nana, Sister and friend.
Mandy was loved dearly by so many and has been taken from us far too soon.
She leaves behind her heartbroken partner, soulmate and best friend, Andy Weaver,
who adored her and doted on her every word.
Mandy touched the lives of so many people and her loss will be deeply felt.
She will be loved, remembered and missed by all those fortunate enough to have known her.
Mandy's cremation will take place at:
Lelley Fields Crematorium
Sproatley Road, Preston
East Yorkshire, HU12 8FX
Friday 9th October 2026 at 2:30pm (Oak Hall).
The cremation is open to friends and family.
Please dress smart casual, with a hint of pink if possible, in memory of Mandy.
Family flowers only please.
Rest in peace, Mandy.
Forever loved and never forgotten.
Although there is no official wake for Mandy, a few family and friends will be heading to
The Constable Arms in Sproatley after the cremation, to raise a toast to Mandy.
All family and friends are very welcome to join us.
Finally, by family request all chapel visits are strictly by appointment only to come and spend time with Mandy whilst in her chapel of rest.
