Missed so much

As my father in-law, you have been great to me and welcomed me into the family along with my three children from a previous marriage who were just your grandkids and great-grandkids. The word “step” was banned from our house. Sadly, your illness took its toll, but the stories of ‘Big Gramps’ will live on. Matthew x

It's incredibly sad, the loss of Gordon. Gordy will be deeply missed by a lot of people, especially by his fibro family. I'll miss your presence at our meetings. I always said you were like the Grandfather of the group. I will miss the double act of Gordy and Ally, I don't think either of you knew how funny you were together. I'll miss the special daughter-father bond that you shared. You loved and were loved by so many people. I don't think I'll ever see salt and not think of you. You loved your salt, but there was something you loved more and that was your family. Your Grandchildren meant the world to you and they kept you going after losing your Wife. I can't believe some of the stories of what you got up to with your Grandchildren. I could always have a laugh with you. I'm glad I was able to help you in your last couple of weeks and spend more time with you. I wish I could have done more for you. I'll miss you, Gordy. x x
