VivienneELLISWe are heartbroken to announce that Vivienne passed away peacefully on Wednesday 11th December 2024. Beloved wife of the late Brian, Daughter of the late Sally and Alec Thomas and youngest sister of the late Patricia and Marlene. Mum of Julie, Robert, Elizabeth and Stephen. Mother in law of Stephen, Margaret, Darren and Tracey. Adored Grandma of Sarah, Charlotte, Alice and Leah and partners Chris, Alex and Lewys. Cherished Granny to great granddaughter Ffion. Vivienne was devoted to her darling Brian and was the best Mum/Grandma in the world. Even living with Alzheimer's Brian was her world and after he passed away six months ago mum gave up and wanted to be with him. We as a family take comfort knowing they are back in each other's arms and reunited together forever. They truly were soulmates. Mum will be sorely missed and will be loved and remembered forever.
Time will not dim the face we love, The voice we heard each day, The many things you did for us, In your own special way. All our life we'll miss you, As the years come and go, But in our hearts we'll keep you, Because we love you so.
Vivienne is resting at James Summers Funeral Home, Roath Court, Newport Road, Cardiff CF24 1XP where flowers may be sent. Alternatively donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society on the day of the funeral. Funeral service to be held at Briwnant Chapel, Thornhill, Cardiff CF14 9UA on Wednesday 22nd January at 2pm followed by interment at Northern Cemetery, Thornhill Road, Cardiff CF14 9UA.
