The obituary notice of Brian ELMS

I was saddened and shocked to hear of Brian passing. I knew him through snooker, he introduced me to His Dad and I played in his team at the Catholic club many years ago. When I moved away we used to have a catch up now and again, last time we met up in Kings Head for a pint and a sarnie. Best memory was at the Crucible we saw Cliff Thorburn score his 147 as we sat on the front row with Brian's dad and a group of mates from Beverley. I will miss our occasional Beverley updates RIP Brian. John and Charlotte.

I served my time and worked with Brian at Stepney Cast Stone Beverley in the 70s, Brian was always very gracious with his time in order to explain all aspects of the trade. RIP. Mike Collins

Brian.captain 18 years of playing snooker together chatting cricket whilst having a pint or 2 and occasionally whisky on birthdays you will be sadly missed by myself and everyone who was lucky to have met you rest in peace bri from your teammate Rob.
