It is with great sadness that Susan and Jackie have to announce the passing of their much loved Mum.

Reunited with her beloved Husband Walter Elsby. Much loved and cherished Mum to Jackie and Susan. Treasured Nanna to Elizabeth and Sarah. Daughter to the late Gertrude and the late Herbert Ward. Sister to the late Roy and Sister-in-law to Ann. Auntie and Great Aunt and loved friend to many.

Mum passed away suddenly, but peacefully at Queen's Hospital, Burton on Trent on Saturday the 12th of April 2025 aged 87 years.

Mum's funeral will be held at St Peter's Church, Stapenhill on the 11th of June 2025 at 11am. Followed by interment at Stapenhill Cemetery.

Floral tributes welcomed as Mum loved flowers. Donations are appreciated for The Salvation Army and may be placed in the donation box as you leave the service or made online via: Funeral-notices.co.uk

With thanks to the staff at Branston Court Care Home for their care and kindness to Mum. Special thanks to Winnie and Nicola.

Hazel will be missed by all who knew and loved her. We will miss Mum's beautiful smile and sense of humour.
