HughELWOOD(Gosforth) Peacefully on Thursday 27th January 2022 aged 75 years. Beloved husband of Meg. Much loved dad of Christopher and David. Dear father in law of Jo and Danielle. Also a loving grandad of Phoebe and Emilia. Would all please meet for funeral service at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 16th February at 11.15am. Family flowers only please but donations gratefully received on behalf of Guide Dogs for the Blind a collection box will be available at the service.

My oldest friend. We met in Miss Parker's class at Summermede School after Easter 1950. He has been the companion of my games, thoughts and laughs for all these years. I shall miss the opportunity our friend ship gave for the silliness of youth and adolescence to continue into old age.
