The service for Pam earlier was a fitting tribute to very loved mum, grandparent and friend. The order of service showed pictures of a very beautiful Pam with dignity and grace. She will be very missed by all who knew her. Jane playing the organ so eloquently with support from Julian and her choir, Simon reading the family tribute, Sarah’s emotional reading and Liz’s thoughtfully composed prayer. You all made her proud in life and today too.
Rest in peace Mrs Emery. X

My dearest Pamy
We have been close to each other for 81 years and I always looked upon you as my big sister. You have played a huge part in my life for which I am truly grateful.
You used to push me to nursery from Tithe Barn Road to the far end of Corporations St in a big Silver Cross pram. When the canopy was up you couldn’t see over the top!! When older we collected Conkers. You made me flapjacks to come home to. You taught me ballet at your dancing school. You wrote my essays for school and got me an “A”.
You sang and played the piano for me.We took you on holidays with us.
I would stay with you sometimes at Nanny Hagan’s. We would have fish and chips and a bottle of Jusoda from next door. When we were in bed we would listen for the service men singing all the way from town up the Sandon Road to 16 MU.on their way home.
When you had Simon I cried because I thought you wouldn’t love me any more. There are so many memories but my best one is when I massaged your legs and feet you gave me a beautiful smile, the six kisses you then blew to me and then you said I looked georgeous.
A farewell that will stay in my heart forever.
